Jasper grabbed her by the arm and turned Peridot to have them face to face, halting any further protests from the smaller gem.
“We need to defeat them!” Jasper growled, “Or would you rather go back a failure?!”
The words cut right through to Peridot, her racing thoughts ceased in an instant.
“I…” Peridot's voice faltered and words caught in her throat.

Or
Ponyboy and Curly are both trying to navigate their chaotic lives while also being super gay. They both find comfort in each other and the toxic, but well meaning, relationship they both have that gets ends up getting them into a lot of trouble.
There's also a lot of Darry, Sodapop, and the gang in this fic cause their relationship with each other is precious.
