And then Oda came along, and Dazai let go of the current, eventually letting the strong valiant waves strand him back onto the dry and bright lands, back at the beginning with no oxygen to carry on, only the memories buried deep in the ocean before him.
Dazai looks at the shiny weapon in his hand. His gaze soon trails towards the deep gash on his arm.
It felt good. The water is still. Maybe this time it will reach its end, and maybe this time he’ll be left satisfied.
