“Ah, that’s because we’re facing a demogorgon and we haven’t been very lucky," Jack responded. “But Isack here has a chance to heal us and save the day.”
Isack groaned. “Way to put the pressure on me.”
“I didn’t even say much!”
“Still, you’re basically implying that I am our only hope.”
“That’s because you are.”
“Is he really your only hope?”
As everyone continued to bicker amongst themselves, Ollie couldn’t help but smile at his friends' antics. When he first had brought up the idea of trying Dungeons and Dragons, he was worried that they would laugh it off or even mock him for playing something so nerdy. However, he got lucky, and they agreed to give it a go, setting them up for what would become a staple in their friendship.
