He sighs against Reigen’s mouth. "I wish we could marry."
The air grows silent. Mob is hit dully with the reality of what he’s just let escape, and slowly he opens his eyes and then they keep opening, widening. Reigen’s, too, as he pulls his face back to look at him; his eyes are wider than Mob has seen them in any recent memory.
Reigen makes a funny little sound, and says, "Sorry?"

Mob feels a strange warmth gather deep inside. Pride. Reigen trusted him with this, and is glad that he did. Mob cannot doubt it now.
“No,” he affirms, and follows him into the thicket. “It doesn’t.”

Now that the world has been saved, the Loporrits want nothing more than to see all of it. With Urianger and Thancred recruited as reluctant travel guides, they're off to see everything Ethyris has to offer. With the pressure off, it's nice to just sit back and relax, except now feelings that they'd thought long buried are bubbling back up to the surface.
Update for Chapter 10: After their arrival in Limsa Lominsa, Thancred and Urianger get some time to themselves, and have a long-needed discussion. (You know the one.)

Thancred hadn’t quite realized the situation he had voluntarily allowed himself to be in– tied up, nearly naked, while Urianger held all of the control. While it was true that Thancred could call it off at any moment, in that position on the bed… the vulnerability Thancred felt made his heart race faster.
Exhilarating.

“’Tis plain I need not ask thee to share thine thoughts.” Silvery, long lashes lowered over an alluring gaze as lips ghosted over his own.
“I suppose you’ll need to show everyone I’m yours, hm? Take out your apprehensions on me?”
Urianger’s eyes widened. He recognized this rare mood. The beguiling words sent bawdy imaginings running through his head. Did he dare consider the deeper implications of such an invitation? Though he had taken the reins from time to time, he still often deferred to Thancred’s experience, more than happy to be swept into his pace. Yet now, a newfound curiosity— hunger— sparked in him.

Soon after saving the Minfilia of the First from Eulmore, Thancred and his newfound charge head to Il Mheg to shake off the Eulmoran troops that are right on their heels. Unfortunately, Il Mheg is just as dangerous, and a brush with the Fuath leave Thancred cursed, his body changed into that of a siren, doomed to never leave the lake. With little time and options at hand, it's up to Urianger to break the curse. If only the solution he found didn't put them in the most awkward position imaginable...
