"Yeah right," Wei Wuxian laughed, "name one alpha who smells better."
Jiang Cheng lifted his hand and began to list off names, counting them with his fingers. "Lan Xichen, Nie Mingjue, Jin Zixuan—"
"THE PEACOCK?" Wei Wuxian screeched.
Jiang Cheng only shrugged in response, "Hey, you know I hate the guy as much as you do, but I won't lie and say he doesn't smell good."

In the deepest sanctum of Carp Tower, there sleeps the infant heir to the Jin sect, swaddled in a mourning white. When that infant stirs in the dead of night the person to comfort him will not be the nurse maid asleep in the adjacent room, nor the purple clad sect leader passed out from exhaustion in a chair in the corner, but rather the ghost swathed in black shadows.

After Wei Wuxian's death, he appears as a ghost inside of Carp Tower where nobody except Jin Ling can see him. He stays with the boy as he grows up and Jin Ling appreciates his secret friend. However, Jin Ling does not know who the ghost is or why it is there.Bookmarked by LilacLadybug
