Summary
When Fandaniel abducts the Warrior of Light in the ruins of Garlemald, he's simply buying time; a distraction to keep her from interfering with his plans. But their confrontation spirals out of control, and in a moment of panic, he forges a bond that ties their lives together. If one dies, they both die.
The connection is intimate and inescapable, bleeding their pain and emotions together and making it impossible to hide. Now Kiara has to decide whether to save or destroy the monster tethered to her soul, before his apocalypse consumes them both.
