I want to be alone!” Qifrey yelled. It was louder than he would’ve liked. The rage he felt wasn’t really raged; it was fear.
“Now you listen to me,” Olruggio's voice came out quiet. “You just had a nightmare, and you’re shaking like a madman. I know you’re scared, but you can’t push me away right now. That’s not what you want, and you know it.”
Qifrey clutched onto Olruggio’s nightshirt, with his trembling hand. He was holding his breath, blinking the tear from his eye. Why was Olruggio so good at seeing through him?
