Maybe that pride is a little damaged when he impulsively jumps into the ocean upon seeing a familiar feathered cloak, but his reputation will survive.

Summary
Father had made Shanks bend but never break. Shamrock would not make the same mistakes. His younger brother would understand his place in the family, his mates would understand theirs. They would learn proper behavior, proper roles, proper devotion. It was, after all, for their own good.

Summary
Being left behind once is enough to understand that love does not always stay.
After being abandoned by the people he trusted most, Figarland Garling brings Shanks back to Mary Geoise — the place that should have been his home all along.
