(Jon, 8 year old Avatar of the Beholding, is living in Night Vale with his cousin Carlos (the scientist) following the death of his grandmother. When he hears about a cat floating four feet off the ground in the Night Vale Community Radio Station's men's restroom, he decides to pay this cat a visit, bonding with the local radio host in the process.)

It appears that the Fear Gods have returned to Night Vale- or at least, they are testing the waters.
