    Summary

He's looking up after his performance, and there’s a man staring from behind a faraway column, unblinking.

Till's hands are frozen over the keys, waiting for a scolding. Or a fucking blink, maybe, whichever comes first. But the man is wearing a light blue apron and black tie. Part of the waiting staff, then. There’s a tray tucked under his arm, too, so he’s probably supposed to be working, but he’s just… Standing there. Just looking at him.

(Till’s a pianist in a too-fancy hotel lounge. Ivan is a very dedicated fan.)

    Summary

Something throbs under Till’s thumb. A beat passes. It does it again. Till looks down, confused, and realizes that his hand is gripping Ivan’s wrist, nails digging into the pale skin, his thumb jabbed right into the pulse point.

Ivan’s heart beats slowly. Ivan breathes slowly. Ivan blinks slowly, his giant eyes tilted up. When they make eye contact, Ivan’s pulse skips a beat. The only thought running through Till’s head is: huh?

“Hello,” Ivan says. “You went somewhere.”

“Uh,” Till manages. Ivan’s pulse thrums under his fingers. Why is it so soothing? Every beat of Ivan’s heart lifts a bit of the weight off Till’s chest. Is that normal?

(or: somewhere along the way, Ivan and Till "fall in love," or something like that. This changes nothing that matters, but they end up okay.)

    Summary

After Keith takes command of his own ship, his reputation billows into infamy in short order—a ruthless and unnaturally cunning pirate, too quick to be caught, a thorn in the sides of both the Empire and the Coalition. In spite of all the fear and awe his name inspire, though, it isn’t long before a certain navy captain picks up Keith’s trail and refuses to let him go.

Captain Shirogane’s smile is soft. His wind-chapped lips part, drawing in a half-breath before he speaks. "The way I see it, we have two courses of action. There is the one you are familiar with, which entails a trial in the nearest Coalition court.”

“Followed by an afternoon hanging in the village square,” Keith tacks on, nodding. “Yeah, I’m familiar. What’s my other choice?”

Shirogane clears his throat. “You are a very capable fighter and a natural at the helm. If I were to have my say, you would join my crew.”

    Summary

Keith shouted, dropping the lamp. The smoke billowed, grew, threatened to overtake him, then coalesced into a distinct shape. Shoulders, waist, hips, arms, head.

A man. That was a man.

    A helluva fine man.

He was a study in metallics. Bedecked in jewelry but with all white hair, tinged silver. Mercurial eyes. Right hand crafted out of gold, veins of it climbing up past his shoulder and kissing his clavicle. A streak of gold scored across the bridge of his nose, like a scar. He was shirtless, yards of gleaming muscle revealed to feast upon.

And he also wore bright blue harem pants and nipple piercings so...yeah.

The smoke dispersed, leaving only him and that dull oil lamp at his feet. The man turned, movements stiff. His gaze found Keith’s. “Oh Master of the Lamp—.”

    Keith screamed.

    --
Or: Keith's a professor of Ancient Galra History and Culture and finds a lamp that contains a beautiful man because of course it fucking does.

I have no excuse for this. I just really, really liked the 3 am thought of Genie Shiro.

    Summary

“Would you come home with me, Kyryll?”

Varka's voice is soft in the quiet murmurs of the lighthouse. Their limbs are tangled in a mess of intertwined legs and blankets, and Varka looks serene underneath the moon's embrace.

“Home?” Flins whispers, as though the word is foreign in his mouth.

Varka reaches out to roll a strand of dark hair between his fingers, “Yes, to Mondstadt.”

    Flins hums, closing his eyes.

“Very well then,” Flins nods, “Bring me home, Grand Master.”

Flins follows Varka back home to Mondstadt and relearns how to live as an ordinary human.
