Sharing a bed was an adjustment for Nom and Scott. Both overly conscious of themself, of the other. Of what they might do if they gave in to their urges.
Still, slowly, they got used to it.
Nom took pride in shielding Scott at his most vulnerable. Scott delighted in uncovering the softness buried deep within Nom. That, and sleeping intertwined. It was pretty good.Or, who could have guessed that Scott and Nom sleeping in the same bed would bring them closer?

Summary
Nom reached the top first and swung himself onto the final layer before the roof with obvious satisfaction, the movement smooth and sure, his tail flicking once behind him as he straightened. Scott was still lower down, close enough to hear the smugness in the knight’s voice when he leaned over the edge and looked down at him.
“You’re getting slow,” he called, and the teasing in his tone was so familiar that Scott’s answering grin came easily, even as he narrowed his eyes and decided, with complete and utter justification, that cheating was now entirely acceptable.
Magic flashed at his staff, golden light gathering in a quick, bright pulse, and Nom’s expression shifted at once as he cast the spell. Teleportation activated before he could properly react, and Scott vanished from below in a shimmer of light.
He reappeared directly in front of Nom, far too close for either of them to think clearly.

scott using teleport and accidentally hitting nom w/ it so he spawns right in front of nom's face on the top floor of the rue bar right over the edge and nom catches him w/ one hand before scott falls down and neither are normal about it

Summary
AU- All Scott Springwell knows is that he is tired, something has just happened with Nom and 4C, and that Nom has asked to meet at the Mage Tower. When Nom hands over the morningstar, the mage makes a different choice.
I mean, tossing the thing into lava is a choice.
Nominal has some feelings about that best worked out by pushing Scott against a wall.
