Summary
Awoken beneath a sea of unfamiliar stars, her body is no longer her own. Trapped in a child’s form, a modern soul is born into a world of strange, ancient beings. In a vast land that harbors people who speak in languages she can't comprehend, all in hopes of discovering the reason as to why she was brought there. If there is one at all.
"Hello?" She was met with silence. Not a single soul lingered for miles around. She knew she was starving. Slowly withering away day by day the longer she went without food and drink. Her stomach churned.
"This blows."

Summary
You've heard this story a million times over, and it is always the same. There's a woman. She somehow wakes up in Middle-Earth, boys like her, everyone wants to kill her, things get dicey. But she's got the entire story in her head, she knows everything that is about to happen, and she has no intention of allowing things to happen the way they're "supposed" to.
Now throw in the fact that she can't speak a lick of Common, because it isn't English despite what others might think, and she does things that should be impossible and moves like she was made for battle. Throw in some time travel, plots that stretch back thousands of years, ample sass, somewhat meddling Gods, and what we have is (hopefully) a different tale to the one that you're used to it.
The premiss of the story might be the same, but shake enough trees and stamp on enough butterflies and things aren't going to end up the same way as one would expect them to.

Summary
Humans were good at many things, and terrible at just about anything else. One of those things was simply not paying attention to the writing on the wall and not taking a hint, even if that hint was the murder of self-entitled poachers and the arson of a mega-corporations new eyesores.
You'd been here longer than any of them and you'd be there when the town became nothing but rubble. A staunch protector of the land, its waters, and the creatures that lived there. While there were only a few handful of humans that could be called your friends, they were far outweighed by those that would cross the street at your passing. All of this was fine until some new creatures settled down in the nearby waters and threw that barely managed balance out of whack.I DO NOT consent for my work(s) to be used or given to AI.
