When he gritted his teeth and lowered his head from the display where a silhouette of the young Spider-Man stood victorious in the wake of his own ignorance, he swore to be better.
It was a universal constant that even when he tried to do what was right, he would end up breaking every promise that he had ever made.

Summary
Their lives were never meant to get this complicated. Tommy and Tubbo were just two simple hybrid thieves trying to get by. It all started when they snuck into a royal masquerade to steal some gold, which somehow turned into a battle of tactics and thievery against King Dream for the Discs back.
The two eventually find themselves in the fight of their lives for the independence of L’manberg and later against the Manberg Empire. But their friendship alone isn’t enough to save everything they love. With all these battles, they can only pray to Prime that they don’t lose their heads.
Or a loose retelling of season one of the DSMP in a medieval setting with fantasy elements, and some canon divergence.

Then, they're kissing and Karl knows he's the luckiest man in the world.
It's not heated and rough, not like when he kissed Sapnap, it's slow and precise, methodical in the way only Quackity can be.
Galaxies must be born like this, based on kisses full of love, forgiveness, absolute adoration, they have to be formed with such soft touches and silences full of affection. Quackity is the one to break away first and Karl doesn't even mind making a fool of himself when he mindlessly follows his partner's lips, groaning under his breath as Quackity pulls further away.

And then the Rogues take Peter back and him and Tony are clinging to each other like their lives depending on it and Tony's all over him, all protective and worried and then he talks to the Rogues and /Peter/ gets protective and worried and oh MY G O D

He feels furthest from Markus when they sit like this, shoulder to thigh on this narrow winding staircase bracketed by poems. He is a hapless planet trapped in an orbit around Markus, their bright star, and this is his aphelion, when he can feel the greatest distance yawning wide between them.
They are too different, this work of art for an artist that reads poetry from aged paper bound in linen, and an obsolete PL600 far past its expiration.
