Ryland Grace doesn't understand why Stratt is so worried about letting him (i.e. forcing him to) speak at this UNESCO conference. Sure, the LAST time he did that wasn't exactly universally appreciated, but he'd been to hundreds of Eridian conferences since then. He's pretty sure he remembers how to present in English. The Public Speaking Extracurricular Thrum that his pebbles started would be so proud of him!

Thanks to Dr. Grace's scientific advancements both before and especially after his time travel, it would look suspicious if Stratt DIDN'T send him to the UNESCO conference to share his findings with the field.
