Summary
Jaskier and Eskel are two of the most important people in Geralt’s life and he wants them to be happy. He realizes they could be happy together and decides to introduce them.
Eskel immediately falls head over heels for Jaskier even though he knows there is no way the bard would ever choose him over Geralt.
Jaskier wonders if the witcher mutations turn people into self-deprecating fools, or if he’s just surrounded by idiots.

Chireadan was forced out of Rinde after Yennefer, Geralt, and Jaskier waltzed in to ruin his entire life. He left the militia and found a town where he could serve as a healer, though he lived on the outskirts and found it hard to form relationships with the locals. He had resigned himself to a decade or two of friendless boredom when suddenly a dramatic silver cat burst into his life and started making demands.
And licking his face. And purring in his lap. And really, Chireadan hadn't had such focused attention from anyone in years. What's a lonely elf to do?

In other words, someone who loves him for the person he is. He’ll never want to undo such a gift, so it really doesn’t bother him that the curse goes unbroken for decades. No, it doesn’t bother him at all.

Summary
A fic about how Jaskier and Eskel met for the first and the second time in their lives - going through hurt and healing together.
In Part 1, Eskel investigates the dark secrets of a boarding school and finds himself confronted with a very determined, but very sad boy with startling blue eyes.
In Part 2, Jaskier learns how Eskel got his nasty scars and discovers he might be too late to save the man that once changed his life.
In Part 3, Eskel and Jaskier are bonding slowly, but it's hard for both of them to accept it for different reasons.
In Part 4, the travelers arrive at Kaer Morhen. Jaskier finds it hard to adjust to living in the keep. Eskel wants to help, but then something unexpected happens.
In Part 5, Eskel and Jaskier have a talk and end up in one bed cuddling, until Lambert is...Lambert.
In Part 6, Jaskier finally decides to make his move in the sweetest possible way.

Bones left to bleach in the summer heat, picked clean by carrion birds, forgotten and unmourned. This would not be the way Geralt of Rivia dies, Jaskier decided. Not when there was still a big fucking sword at hand.
