Summary
O quartel da Ordo Realitas estava praticamente inoperante quando Veríssimo foi ver como a Agatha estava, talvez pelo seu impecável senso de trabalho, talvez por preocupação. Talvez ele genuinamente se preocupava com ela de alguma forma. Não é como se conseguissem compreender o real motivo, mas o fato é que algumas vezes por dia ele dava uma passada em sua sala para ver seu progresso e ver se ela estava bem.
AKA: Veríssimo vai dar uma olhadinha na Agatha na sala nova de rituais. E as coisas… não estão indo muito bem.
Essa obra é uma tradução de Behind the Door de Ursula_incorporated.

Ele tem apenas uma mão no volante.
Esse detalhe o pega sem sobreaviso. Ele está muito ocupado tentando processar essa mudança brusca de panorama sem bater a van quando a desorientação bate com tudo. Mas no momento em que ele se orientou novamente em relação ao espaço (meio da noite, dentro da van, passageiro vazio, ele está se afastando do Perímetro?), ele se dá conta de que apenas uma de suas mãos está no volante.
E ele só tem uma das suas mãos no volante porque a outra está segurando um bebê contra seu próprio peito.
Veríssimo é um Veríssimo. Um homem da ordem. Ele fez sua vida encarando o horrendo, o impossível, e o absurdo. Tem pouquíssimas coisas que podem apavorá-lo.
Ele mete o pé no freio e encosta no canto da estrada antes que ele possa processar o que ele acabou de fazer.

Ou, Veríssimo sai do Perímetro, se torna um pai, faz uma ligação duvidosa, mente sobre dar uns pegas em alguém, se lembra de algo que não aconteceu, e quase bate uma van. Não necessariamente nessa ordem.
(OU o que acontece depois que o Veríssimo sofre de amnésia quando sai do Perímetro com um bebê.)

- Traduzir e localizar são exercícios mentais bem divertidos.
- Quando eu fico obcecado com alguma fanfic de Ordem em inglês eu automaticamente começo a imaginar as falas em português na minha cabeça
- Nem todo fã de ordem lê inglês fluentemente, e é legal que fics divertidas estejam acessíveis e compreensíveis a um grupo maior de pessoa, por mais que o usuário médio do AO3 fale inglês.Dito isso, divirta-se!

I know there already is a public workskin for Homestuck, but this one has a background function and a function for the larger command font.
Updated Apr 2024 to clarify some instructions (and also update them according to various layout changes) and to alter the CSS to use percentage widths instead of fixed widths (in order to improve the mobile reader's experience). The Courier New font seems to dislike certain mobile browsers, but I've yet to find a fix for it.

Summary
Snufkin returns to Moominvalley, but some things have changed. Following an accident which took place while he was away, Moomin has become thoughtful and distant. It isn't until Snufkin is about to leave the following year - and is prevented from doing so by a sudden, persistent illness, meaning he must spend winter with Moomin for the first time - that he learns the full story and comes to understand how best to help his friend.
In the meantime, Snufkin realizes his own feelings have begun to change, and must decide whether his fear of losing freedom will prevent him from accepting a place in the hearts of those who care for him most.
