It was amazing after all this time that Vash was still extending the olive branch, though this was the most hesitant form of invitation he had received yet.
He felt his lip curl, because Vash always used these tactics, always went below the belt and preyed on his never-ending desire to see his twin. It wasn’t fair, because Nai had now come to accept that the love they felt for each other would never be equal. He didn’t have the open heart that his twin did. He only wanted Vash, and it had been that powerful, gripping love that had driven the wedge between them.
Tonight is the moment he's been waiting for. The final nail in the coffin.

Unable to part ways without answers, the professor chases Erik down the rabbit hole to the Hellfire Club. Run by Sebastian Shaw, a man with a terrifying past and an iron grip on Erik, Charles steps into the world to save his new friend. Charles thought he knew evil, he thought that there was a bottom to man’s depravity. Now he might need saving, too.

As the Shinra personnel settle in for the first night in Nibelheim, Sephiroth is spiraling from pain, both physical and mental. Like a drowning man grasping for his life, he clings to a pretty cadet, without considering the lasting consequences.
Cloud Strife was beautiful, he observed, his reptilian eyes now laser-focused on the little small-town youth, who without his helmet captured the best aspects of androgyny. Impulsively, Sephiroth did something he had never done before. He arched an eyebrow, tossed some of his long, liquid hair over his shoulder and beckoned to his direct report.

Legato had the gall to look surprised. Did he really not know how often he threw around that old chestnut?
“Bluesummers,” he cooed, “so good at fooling yourself that anger and pride aren’t emotions.” Wolfwood couldn’t hold back the wicked grin that stretched over his face. Like breaking your teeth on hard candy–the shards would cut, but it was gonna taste so sweet after. “You get that from Knives.”
The floor became the ceiling.
Wolfwood takes a bite out of Legato and gets a little more than he can chew.
