Summary
Eroch clicked his tongue curtly. “I stored it inside one of the drawers in my bedroom, through that door over there. It's unlocked. Find it yourself.”
Diluc froze, blood running cold.
He's– he's lying—
Then Diluc heard a yelp. It sounded like Kaeya.
Or, now that Diluc has gone off to Snezhnaya, Eroch can finally take Kaeya for his own. Little did he know that Diluc was still in Mondstadt and had heard everything that he's done to his brother.

Summary
A decade ago, Kaeya too had stood here looking out at the rain, the torrential storm that he would’ve been left alone in and most likely been killed by had Master Crepus not taken him in.
The Ragnvindr family had protected him and given him life.
And he had repaid them with lies.
It’s now time for me to make it right, isn’t it? Father.
A retelling of the night of Diluc's 18th birthday, from Kaeya's point of view. (Canon-compliant)

Summary
There was an old barn at the bottom of the hill. When they had been children, their father had used it to store old furniture and broken tools. Diluc and Kaeya had played among its hodge-podge as children: Diluc brandishing a rusty wrench and Kaeya riding a naked broom.
Diluc had cleared out the barn two summers ago. He had thrown away the useless contents, swept away the dust and spider webs, and repainted the flaking exterior. At the time, he had not possessed a conscious reason for doing so. He had no great plans for this barn, but he knew that he no longer wanted to see it useless and unhelpful. His rolled-up shirt sleeves had grown heavy with sweat as he hauled out each forgotten piece of trash. He wanted the place to be ready to serve a purpose, even if that purpose was yet unclear to him.

Summary
With that, Kaeya's smile dropped — well, not completely. Now, displayed on his face was a rueful grin, as he slumped back down in his seat. The captain seemed rather hesitant, as if contemplating on whether or not to tell Diluc whatever it is that's bothering him. The older of the two wondered if it was something really serious for the younger to act this way and was about to push further when the other spoke again.
‘I lost my voice.’
Or, Kaeya lost his voice and Diluc is miraculously the only one who can hear him through his head thus it's up to him to get back what was rightfully his brother’s.
