Bookmarker's Notes
Bard is distrustful of the elves and their king after they captured him.
He think of all kinds of horrible things they will do to him.
Then he sees the Elvenking and lusts after him 🔥
An incredibly beautiful, well written story filled with sexual tension from Bard and Thranduil alike 👌🏼 -

This story is so beautiful, telling how much Thranduil loves Thorin. Showing how stubborn the Dwarven king is. And how Thorin's resistance crumbles as the Elvenking shows him love and tenderness 💜✨
It's beautifully written. I recommend it to all Thorinduil lovers 💕 -

Summary
After centuries of enmity and misunderstanding, the fates of Thorin Oakenshield and Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm, become entwined in ways neither could have foreseen. What begins as resentment—Thorins' deep-seated anger toward Thranduil for not aiding his people when Smaug took Erebor—slowly shifts into something else entirely.
Through battles fought side by side, wounds tended, and unspoken truths revealed, Thorin comes to learn the depth of Thranduil’s burdens, the scars he has hidden, and the impossible patience he has held for over a century. Thranduil, in turn, watches Thorin battle his own demons, the gold sickness, and the weight of his crown.
A promise was made—if Thorin could free himself from his sickness and honour his debts, then Thranduil would hear him. And now, in the wake of war and hardship, with Erebor and Dale rebuilding, they find themselves standing at the precipice of something fragile and undeniable.
With dwarven braids woven by elven hands, whispered words in Khuzdul and Sindarin alike, and an intimacy neither of them ever expected, Thorin and Thranduil must navigate what it means to be bound—not by hatred, but by something far stronger.

Summary
Bard Bowman hates math with his guts, but has spent fifteen years doing it. The sort that tells him how long groceries last, how much rent he can stretch, and how close he is to losing everything. Single father to three children, he knows one lesson better than any other: when money runs out, people leave.
When five-year-old Tilda sets her heart on a summer camp with a Lego workshop, Bard does what he always does: make the math work. Somehow. Even if it means a family discount that requires two parents.
Enter Thranduil Oropherion: widowed, wealthy, and new in town with a son. When he sees Bard at the registration desk, sees the math happening behind his eyes, the moment he realizes he can't afford it, the way he turns to his children apologetically, Thranduil moves without much thought. His arms go around the stranger’s waist; a casual “Darling, I’ve got this” is a lie that costs him nothing and saves a family from disappointment. As a father, he knows what it does to a child's face when hope runs out.
It's a one-time lie. They'll never see each other again.
Then they discover the family discount includes shared accommodations. For the whole summer.

WIP still. Great writing. Intriguing story already. A different concept I've never came across before... Bard and the three kids are half siblings, not father and children... Quite interesting ✨
