“Should we call Zoey and Mira?” Suggested Jennie, finally revealing what she had been thinking about. Two pairs of eyes looked at her. “What? She must have them saved on her phone.”
Ara and Yi-seo exchanged a look, ruminating on Jennie's idea with different levels of interest.
“And tell them what?” Ara prodded sceptically.
Jennie shrugged, lifting her head up to look down at the other two. “Easy, it’s the International Idol Awards in three weeks, right? Why don’t we give them a little reunion?”
Yi-seo turned her head to look at the younger girl better, brows knitted in thought. “It’s been fifteen years without talking, Jennie, what are the odds of them wanting to meet after all this time?”
Jennie smirked. “Oh, no, no, no, you misunderstood. We’re not giving them an option.”

Summary
She probably already left, you dummy, Emira thought to herself. What reason would she have to wait around for you after you were such an asshole? Breathing a sigh of frustration, Em reluctantly made her way to the steps that led up to the school, her search turning out unfruitful. Spotting her bag at the top of the staircase, Em sighed, clenching her jaw and bracing herself in preparation for the agonizing journey back home.
Two steps in and a dozen more negative thoughts in tow, a pained yelp followed by several chastising barks stopped Emira in her tracks. Turning on her heel to find the source - more on instinct than willfully - she scanned the quad once more, this time eyeing the “friend” she had been searching for. Pondering her next course of action, Em paused momentarily, wanting to think of what she’d say upon meeting up lest she make their current situation even more turbulent.
Much to her dismay, however, her legs did not get the memo.

Thanks for writing that for me! It did the #BrokenLegAU (aka the AU I never wanted/intended to coin) proud haha.
This fic can function as a stand-alone but I highly recommend reading LadyKatAstrid’s fic first (along with her other bomb ass fics while you’re at it!).

one of the helping teachers approaches them with a gentle smile. “you’re jamie’s parents, yes?” she asks, her eyes glancing at the couple before returning down to the clipboard she’s holding.
clarke blinks, “oh, we’re not—”
the young woman stills and looks up, “you’re not? you’re not here for jamie?”
“well, yes, we are, but—”
