Summary
"The Heavenly Principles have ordained the angels to answer for their sins. Their fate has been carved into the bones of the world. Nothing by you, me or any other can be done to change it.”
After the war of Funerary Flame, the rebellious First Angel and her lover are captured by the Heavenly Principles. The punishment the Usurper-King metes out is as cruel as it is ironic. All their memory of each other would be removed, and they would languish on opposing ends of Teyvat in eternal imprisonment. Koitar, goddess of the dawnstar, would be brought far away from her golden city, confined to her old palace in Amsvartnir. In that cold, dark prison she would sing laments, until her loneliness was eased by a curious wolf, whose love saw her reclaim herself, however slightly.
But someone must have carried out the sentence, and brought her there in the aftermath of war.
