Will’s fallen in love. With an artist. It’s a terribly dangerous and stupid thing to do, and it’s ruined his life entirely. Will can pick out his artist’s work among his peers’ with ease. No one else can. Otherwise his artist would be caught. Imprisoned. Where he’d never be able to make another beautiful work again. That would be the ultimate tragedy. More tragic than the method Will’s artist uses to create his art.
Because that is the catch, isn’t it? Creating art out of murder. Murdering to create art. Will wonders which of those his artist did first. Murder or art.

Clone Wars, no paradox, no easy fix it.

He lifts the handset and dials the number again. Same voice, this time less friendly.

“Wrong number!” The voice tainted by annoyance. No apology this time. Just the click.

Summary
Finding out about his parents' murder at the hand of the Winter Soldier, Captain America's old war buddy, pushes Tony Stark into a very dark place and he turns to the former HYDRA assassin with a burning fury, part of him screaming for revenge.
Finding out that Steve knew and didn't tell him pushes him over the edge and he lashes out against the super soldier, but just as Steve is about to retaliate the Winter Soldier takes Tony by surprise, by knocking Steve out and surrendering.The Asset knows that to be free HYDRA must be crushed, and for that to happen his best chance is the resources of Tony Stark, when Captain America shows up in Bucharest the fragmented memories of who he once was tells him that the Captain will protect him and bring him to the Avengers so the Asset goes with him, but when the Captain is about to attack Iron Man with deadly intent he makes a choice and goes against the voices within.
The Asset neutralizes the Captain and surrenders to Iron Man, hoping that he will be able to convince the man to use HYDRA's own weapon to take them down.- Language:

Connors thirium pump squeezes with nerves as silence drags on before he's suddenly pulled into a tight hug, eyes wide in surprise as Hanks arms squeeze him closer into his chest. Hanks hugged him before, just once outside the Chicken Feed after the revolution, he'd embraced Connor and they'd stood there for a long moment before settling into Hanks car for a long talk between friends. This hug was different, hanks hand rubbing slow circles into his back and the other pulling him so close that he could feel hanks heartbeat echoing through his chassis.
