Summary

Summary
The Z-Team (with the addition of one new member) undergoes turmoil and doubt during their time getting to know each other. they are guided to salvation by the hand of Robert Robertson, who must receive the same treatment in kind. Invisigal struggles to handle her own self destructive tendencies, and Robert suffers similarly. Malevola, Coupe and Blazer face their self doubt. one man does his best to keep himself outside of it all, only for the family to take him in regardless.
this work was inspired by the fic "Out of the shadows, into the streetlight" by TheFatWalrusKing (incredible name btw). as such, some story beats are similar if not identical, though I intend to take them in different directions, and the focus of the fic is not a mechablades ship unfortunately (I might write one in the future.)

Summary
Vers likes systems, clear odds, and problems that misbehave just enough to be interesting. The warehouse equations have stopped resolving. The city's pattern is wrong in a way she can feel without seeing. The bar is loud enough to count as a different background.
Then someone two stools down tries to sell her a soft con dressed up as a back-room blackjack game.
Saying yes is the worst call she's made all month. It is also how she ends up embedded at SDN, sideways into a team of disasters she was never supposed to become load-bearing for, and on the wrong side of two people who become structurally irreplaceable before she notices. The structure won't hold.

Summary
A Baldur's Gate fanfic written in the spirit of the tongue-in-cheek Dungeons and Dragons storytelling style. It is based on the events of Baldur's Gate 3 and includes all companions, a female Tav and an original female character (Nyx). The fanfic follows the major story plot and honours the essence of BG3 and its characters, but it is not a carbon copy of events/dialogue in the game. This is to create interest and keep me sane as I weave in new/alternative stories/dialogues and integrate the backstory and journey of my OC.
The fanfic sets out to celebrate BG3 for what it is, a story of companionship and overcoming seemingly impossible challenges both external and internal. It follows Nyx, as she travels with Tav and the gang as they get to know one another, the threat they face and experience each other's stories along the way. It has mature and dark components in line with the original game, but the main focus remains the story, the relationships between the characters and how they develop.
Buckle up, this is likely going to be a bumpy ride.
NB: I created Nyx for all my fellow extreme introverts, overthinkers, daydreamers and self conversationalists 😆
