Summary
Both under parental pressure to marry, notorious rake Anthony Crowley and exceptionally discreet rake Aziraphale Eastgate enter the London social season as rival alphas on the marriage mart. Neither of them is particularly keen to wed, and after a rough start to their acquaintance full of snark and sparks, they come to a mutually enjoyable arrangement for enduring the Season. Neither is willing to admit he's falling for his fellow-alpha lover as the Season wears on. Even more unfortunately, one of them is lying about being an alpha.

“…So.” Crowley glances fleetingly at Aziraphale, then double-takes at his imploring expression in alarm. “Sorry, what—what was the question? Again?”
“A couple,” says Aziraphale. “We’re a couple. You know that, I know that, you said your whole ‘the group of the two of us’ bit. And even God…” He trails off uncomfortably. No use getting into all of that now, months after the whole Second-Not-Coming nonsense. He asks, “But are we a… ‘Valentine’s Day’ sort of couple?”
“I don’t even know what that means,” Crowley protests desperately.

It’s their first Valentine's Day as that sort of couple, and Aziraphale and Crowley are determined to do as humans do. Five times London finds a way to ruin their perfect night, and the one time a perfect night finds them.

Summary
Crowley faces the decision that Aziraphale has made. He is devastated and has no way to communicate with him… or does he? Although he acts a bit like an asshole, his friends are there to support him. Meanwhile, something is brewing up above. The Metatron’s true intentions reveal themselves before Aziraphale, and he realizes the gravity of the situation. Whom will he choose? His love for Crowley or Heaven?

He stands behind the bench, his hands on the backrest, on either side of Aziraphale’s shoulders. Hands that slit throats, tortured, and worse.
"And Hell..."
Crowley bows his head, his mouth inches from the angel’s ear. The voice grows low, charged with threats:
