good fic!!
i really like the characterisation. i think berdly being really over the top is very in character for him. then his nervousness, his panic at the mere Idea of being rejected is nice. i always wish more fics touched upon that part of him, even if briefly, especially for exploring scenarios post-ch2's dark world. him getting that small boost of confidence to just. Try to do things differently. to reach out to new people. to do things he's been afraid to. even if he risks rejection. even if he's doubtful, believing that it was all a dream.... that's very interesting!! it avoids making his arc feel null.
also i know this is about kerdly but oh my god bro. noelle asking susie by making a display out of candy canes, susie eating it before halfway thru realising what it said and ending up in the nurse's cus she was choking is so stupid cute and in character for those two 〒▽〒 -

SUCH A CUTE FiC OMG??? i love how you can easily tell which of the letters were whose purely by how they write kris' name (i do admit, i mixed up ralsei and noelle's. ... but that's only because i'm a "doodler noelle" warrior. the idea of ralsei having glittery pens is amazing though)
for someone who's never written ralsei, his characterisation was so so good. like he stood out to me the most. but the others were also very well written!!! i love how different every interaction was, despite being about the same thing.
this is a wonderful kris fic. i think they deserve to have all the love in the world. thank you for indulging that dream of mine hehe -

GENUiNELY REALLY GOOD. i did not expect a silly kerdly fic to actually tackle kris' burdens head on and use it to reframe their relationship with berdly in a way even i hadn't thought of. berdly being just a . normal kid. who's really weird but also dorky and stupid and entertaining, making it so even though kris obviously loves susie and ralsei, their ties to the prophecy adds a layer of complication to their relationships that their relationship with berdly doesn't have. it's sooo cool.
a lot of the gaming references went over my head to be honest (#FakeGamer) but it never deterred me. i loved how nerdy berdly was in this. i feel like the author truly understands him and how his brain works. it's genuinely so peak. the way his dynamic with kris is written is so engaging and amazing and wow wow. it's a breath of fresh air. and the author's style of writing mimics toby's writing which makes it very immersive haha. like i could totally imagine this happening in game.
overall a very good fic. omg. the amount of tropes crammed in here was very enjoyable lol. i love it , S tier fic -

wow wow... a short but very devastating read. huge fan of how akechi's feelings for akira are described. i lovee when people try to tackle his complicated mess of feelings in the most nonsensical, paradoxical way ever. because they really are like that. hating someone because you love them so much. wanting to be so close so you push them so far away. ouhh. so good !!

beautiful fic!!! i've always loved the idea of muhen being akechi's guardian in a roleswap au so this was wonderful to read :) i loveeee swap fics/aus that keep the character personalities the same, i believe they're far more interesting because they let you explore how a character might fair in a different environment or under different circumstances and i think this fic handles that well enough! i get annoyed with roleswap au fics at times due to mischaracterisation but nothing in this fic has turned me away , it's a lovely read.

BEAUTiFUL roleswap makoann. there are little crumbs here and there about the overall lore of the au and i think i love it omg. the complicated relationship between sae and ann is so wonderfully written. i love seeing the contrast between p5 ren and this swap au's ann. they take up the same role , yet they go about it in ways unique to themselves. it's very well written

the way they communicate, or lack thereof, is so well-written here. all at once, they're dancing around the issue, saying what they don't mean, having a secret conversation through looks and unsaid words alone. i love when they talk about something while meaning something else. and maybe anyone else would take the other's words at face value, but these two understand each other so well and see through each other so much to the point they just Know. it's very well executed in my opinion

really wonderful read. goro's dread and anxiety was palpable, it was really good. somehow, despite their roles being swapped, they felt scarily in character as well. i admired that a lot. i think it makes this a far more fascinating fic than it would be if their characters were shifted to fit their roles. i loved reading this so much

no words can describe how painful and fucking brilliant this is. honestly that ending twist got me so bad. it is so in character for akira to know goro so well that he'd be able to pretend to be something goro would never accept. and if it weren't for maruki realising it right at the end, he would've kept up the charade til the very end, wouldn't he? aaa wow wow wow!!! this concept of shuake roleswap is so so good. they handle each other's roles so well while still remaining in character.
i feel extremely blessed to have read this today wow.... like maybe top 10 fics ever -

waw....oh my god. okay i read this and freaked out so bad i had to take a moment to calm down. you'd think a pre-11/20 fic where shuake are so stupid they're making out despite both knowing what's to come wouldn't be that deep but good grief.
it's always a treat getting to read something pre-11/20 because as much as i love 3rd sem and watching these losers try to unpack their complicated feelings and relationship (or pointedly, NOT do that) with everything finally out in the open, their little game of tightrope before 11/20 is just too thrilling and perfect for showing off the best of their dynamic. despite being on opposing sides, despite decieving each other, the real mixes with the fake, their masks clashing. i love how it feels like they're both trying to peel back the layers on the other, they're both so similar yet so different. it's the perfect dynamic. i think this fic explores this perfectly. there's just Something there in their dialogue, akira's own thoughts, it's all so good.
