Summary
Childe doesn’t intend to forgive the man he once called his friend so easily, still angry at Zhongli for his betrayal. However, the fight between the two that he so eagerly awaited doesn’t go as planned when he comes down with a nasty illness.
What will he do when he’s stuck with him while he recovers? Will his deep-seated grudge really be so easy to cast aside?

Summary
“What about my tea?” Childe reminds Zhongli, hoping that the distraction will be enough.
“Demanding,” Zhongli comments, a twinkle in his eyes. He chuckles and goes to make tea. Childe gets up from the kitchen table and moves towards the window. Despite the kitchen being small, the window is quite large, the ledge is even big enough to support the weight of two people. Childe takes a seat on it, closes his eyes and takes in a deep breath. The crisp night air fills his lungs and the moonlight drenches him in its ethereal glow.
Childe feels the weight of another body settle next to his. He takes in another breath before opening his eyes and they land on Zhongli’s face.
“What brings you here, Childe?” Zhongli asks and Childe cocks his head to the side, confused by the same question being asked again. He opens his mouth to repeat what he’d said but before he can make a noise, Zhongli’s slim finger gently presses against his lips. “Here at night, with a flower in your hand, in front of my home.” Zhongli specifies. The gold in his eyes appears to be molten as they sit under the moonlight.

Summary
“Well, thank you for putting your trust in me,” Ajax finally finds some words to use, “it was my pleasure. And you do know I enjoy myself some good repetitive activities, no matter how mundane they may be.”
“That much I do,” Zhongli replies, a smile that means something else creeping on his lips, “this said, I… I really enjoyed this. Turning off my brain, and just… you know?”
“Trust me, I do,” the young man agrees, “I’m glad we both kinda got something out of this.”
Accompanying their soft voices laced with feelings they cannot profess to the other just yet, the music in the background just keeps running in its calm and quiet, only turned off once Ajax finally remembers that he still needs to change his clothes. Zhongli has simply been too intent in counting the freckles on the other’s face, creating patterns between the darker ones in his mind.In which Ajax picks up Zhongli after a long day at work and, despite the rain, the two have their programmed "definitely not a date"... in which some unexpected stuff happens.

Summary
What if Zhongli is magically transported to a modern world where Genshin Impact is nothing but a game? What if the first place Zhongli lands in is the cramped one-bedroom apartment of Ajax, impoverished college student and number 1 Zhongli simp extraordinaire?
A slice-of-life story featuring Zhongli trying to navigate his new normal with Ajax acting as his guide (while trying to desperately hide all of his Zhongli merch, including his questionable Zhongli dakimakura).
--
A sort of spin-off from "Entirely Out of Spite" where Zhongli from Genshin Impact 1.0 is transported to Ajax's home (if Ajax had not died). Posted as a big Thank You for the 20k kudoses for Entirely Out of Spite. <333

Summary
“It cannot be easy to turn a blade on a friend.”
“Not if they turn it on you first!” The retort, though immediate, is followed by a considering pause, ostensibly to polish off the remaining Mora meat. “...then again, I don’t have any experience in such matters. I’d turn it on xiansheng, if it meant you’d finally use that Vision of yours!”
“To strike fatally?”
“Goodness,” Childe says, the innocence in his expression so sweet Zhongli thinks he will feel it in his teeth for days, “Just what sort of man do you take me for?”
The same as me, Zhongli is saved from confessing by the storm breaking.
(or: an untimely storm raging through the Harbor results in Childe staying the night at Zhongli's.)
