Goob leaned in, his lips brushing against Shrimpo’s cheek as he spoke, his voice barely above a murmur. “It’s… nice, isn’t it? Being close like this.”
Shrimpo nodded, unable to speak. He felt dizzy, lightheaded, caught in the orbit of Goob’s quiet intensity.
Suddenly, Goob’s cheeks flushed a deeper crimson. He pulled back slightly, breaking eye contact, a slightly sheepish expression on his face. “Actually,” he said, his voice a little strained, “I… I have something. Something you might like.”
Shrimpo’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion. “Something I might like?”

Summary
Glisten finally capped the gloss with a decisive click and turned fully to face Goob. “Alright,” he announced, striking a playful pose, one hand on his hip. “All done. What do you think? Am I sufficiently dazzling enough to see you off today?”
Goob’s eyes widened, his gaze travelling over Glisten’s perfectly crafted image. “You’re… you’re blindingly beautiful,” he breathed out, his voice thick with genuine admiration. “Always.”
Glisten felt a genuine flush of something warm, something that felt suspiciously like happiness, spread across his golden surface. He reached out and cupped Goob’s fluffy cheek in his hand. “You’re sweet,” he murmured, leaning in to press a deeper, lingering kiss to Goob’s lips. This time, the kiss was less chaste, more charged with unspoken emotions, with a subtle desperation that hummed beneath the surface.

Summary
Goob’s voice, barely a whisper, broke the suffocating silence. “Shrimpo?”
“Quiet!” Shrimpo hissed again, though the edge in his voice was less anger, more… strained tension.
“Shrimpo,” Goob repeated, his voice lower, huskier this time. His paw, instead of pulling away, pressed closer to Shrimpo’s side. He could feel the gentle pressure, the unexpected warmth seeping through his chitin.
Then, Goob did something even more unexpected. He nuzzled his fluffy head against Shrimpo’s shoulder, burying his face in the crook of Shrimpo’s neck. The soft fur tickled, and something hot and unfamiliar flared in Shrimpo’s chest.

The room is too bright.
It’s quaint, in a nauseating sort of way. Polished floors glint from the gleaming honeycomb chandeliers overhead, make him squint. A few vases sprinkled here and there, filling the room with a sickeningly sweet scent – even a waffle-cone headrest framing the silken sheets of a neatly-tucked bed. Outside, the golden sun gleams, the gentle rays of light spilling past curtains that waver in the afternoon breeze.
It's meant to be beautiful. Luxurious. Welcoming.
With one sweep of his cane, Shadow Milk tears it apart.

Summary
After an incident due to Gardenveiw’s longest run yet, Goob is forced out of commission. Trying to save Shrimpo, Goob injures his arms. Shrimpo is suprised that someone would go out of their way to save him, and while still keeping his hot head personality, tries to understand the other toons in Gardenview. Goob, however, starts to feel useless, eventually letting his insecurities get the better of him.
