Summary

Summary
After being left heartbroken, Lena finds herself in Scotland with nothing but a broken watch, a photograph of the woman who broke her heart, and the sudden urge to go for a walk. A very long walk. With stubborn determination, she sets out on a cross-country journey, with the intention of fixing her broken heart and winning back the woman that she loves in grand gesture in Paris.
Until Lena finds herself stranded at a teahouse in the south of England, her trip to Paris delayed, and unable to bring herself to leave for some reason, finding that her heart doesn't need to be fixed; it just needs to be loved by the right person.

Vi smiled, her mouth curving in that enigmatic, emotionally charged way that made Caitlyn's face flush.
“Just one wish?”
“Yes.”
“To have met you before" Vi whispered "That way, for every time I close my eyes, I could see you clearly in my mind.”

Caitlyn has everything she could ever want. Everything she ever dreamed was materializing with the same confidence and skill of someone who knows what she wants and has the means to get it. But still, she feels empty, as if her life is aimless and, worst of all, she is completely detached from the one thing she believed was her great love, art. Until, by coincidence of life (or perhaps fate) she meets Vi, a young woman who has lost more than most could bear, but still maintains a fierceness and zest for life that immediately draws Caitlyn into her orbit.
But despite her optimism, Vi also has her own demons to face, a past to overcome and prejudices to fight against day in and day out.
Could two people so opposed to each other find connection through art? Or will their differences in life outweigh their strong and growing bond?
