Dream wakes up after being trapped in stone for about 100 years. At first it feels like a long sleep, but he quickly realizes he can’t move and that everything around him—his home and garden—is ruined and covered in dust. He becomes scared and lonely, wondering where his brother Nightmare is and fearing something might have happened to him.
Nightmare appears, now much older and taller, and is shocked to see that Dream has not aged at all and is still the same six-year-old child from a century ago.
Aka: An au where dream and nightmare dont hate each other, dream gets out of stone early and nightmare plays big brother and helps raise dream.
