Prince Aerion Targaryen once drank a cup of wildfire, convinced it would make him a dragon. It made him a corpse instead—briefly. Summary
Rhaenyra Targaryen was the first child born after the death of Balerion the Black Dread, more dragon than girl in truth. Dragons, by nature, are possessive, protective creatures, and Rhaenyra knows that the Realm will not accept her simply because her father declared it to be, and she will not allow her children, even the ones not of her womb, to be harmed.
Her father delights in it. The Realm whisper about her kindness. Otto is his normal self. Gwayne's just along for the ride. Laenor is having a grand old time. Daemon, eventually, despairs because there are so many children. In the end, they'll all be grateful for it, because no brother, no son, would dare steal from the woman who raised him.

As Otto leads his daughter to the altar set at the end of the vaulted chamber of the Royal Sept, the bright and glorious future stretches before his eyes, glowing in the sunlight streaming through the stained windows of the Sept.
His hard work, his careful planning, his cunning and wit finally bore fruit. Alicent is to become the Queen, and soon, she will fill the royal nursery with boys, the heirs to the Targaryen dynasty.
A King with Hightower blood – Otto’s blood – will one day sit on the Iron Throne and rule the Seven Kingdoms.

Summary
A modern man finds himself in Westeros after his untimely death. More specifically, in the body of no one other than King Viserys I Targaryen, the man who set the path to one of the bloodiest conflicts in the Seven Kingdoms' history. Armed with knowledge of what is to come and with a strong will to not let it happen, he is going to stop at nothing to change the destiny of his new family and save the House of the Dragon, and the whole of Westeros, from destruction.

Or canon!Viserys gets replaced by someone with an actual spine and that puts his family first. This is a feel good story for everyone that felt personally victimized by how fucking tragic canon is. A lot of fluff and wholesomeness and little to no drama/angst because George already gave us enough of it to last for a lifetime.
