Summary
The roots of the sky grazer—Genesis—were swollen, the inner tissue inflamed, and the outer shell riddled with fissures. Genesis’s husk had tenrilated suddenly; even the old rooting filaments looked wind-burned and raw. Recently it had begun to open, tearing itself away from the soft ground researchers had made for it. There is a knot at the base that it's revealing. A long, oblong shape in the soil made of oxidized iron. It doesn’t sound hollow; it has a dense, living rhythm. The innards whoosh, creaking wetly and gurgling constantly. There's a steady thumping from the center; it seems to be pushing the fluid within its innermost shell… There's an accumulation from one quadrant. Enough of it that the pressure of the assumed rupture is causing distressed sounds to reverberate underfoot.
Erid has found a tree in space. They don't know what it is, but they're too curious not to study this anomaly. One day, though this has been a long, mostly unseen process, the tree bears a single fruit. Not from its braches, but from under its roots.

Summary
Hot Rod wonders if he's cursed by something he did in a previous life. Normal mechs don’t have to deal with the slag he gets put through—namely getting stranded on a Quintesson-occupied planet with no means of contacting home, encountering strange, mutilated Cybertronians seemingly built just to kill Quints, and being ordered to babysit said strange, mutilated Cybertronians.
All of this is to say that everything currently wrong with Hot Rod’s life can be attributed to the stray that followed him home: one maybe-empurata victim calling himself “Thunderclash”.

Before the Kaiju came to Earth, Thunderclash used to dream of being an astronaut, and after the longest two decades of his life, his boyhood dream has somehow come to fruition.
Sure, it’s been a bit more fraught than he’d imagined as a kid—what with him piloting a mecha instead of a rocket, helping giant robotic aliens fight off Kaiju, and dealing with a language barrier that has resulted in said aliens mistaking him for being one of them—but Thunderclash wouldn't give it up for the world.
Besides, with Hot Rod guiding him through these unfamiliar stars, Thunderclash thinks that everything'll turn out fine.

Summary
“Identify yourself!” Megatron grunts out, ready to make his choice. To damn with the energon cubes, this mockery ends now.
Cogged cooling vents trudge out the last of the dust as the figure takes a deep vent. They stop just shy of the doorway, shoulders sagging with weight. He slightly turns his helm to the side, acknowledging Megatron.
“Voracity Prime.”
A huff of pure disbelief escapes Megatron. His fusion canon rises to the challenge.
One servo lowers to the datapad.

Good thing Primus isn't the only God who can anoint a bot to Primehood…Now, if only there wasn't a war going on with Primus’s dysfunctional children, his plan might actually go off without a hitch!
