Summary
Trevor and Sypha return to the castle only to discover two corpses and a badly burned Alucard. Sypha and Trevor do anything they can to help Alucard repair the damage in the aftermath of devastation, but are they already too late for the reparation of his heart?
Excerpt: There was a moment where they all stared at each other, the shock and despair heavy in the air between them. Alucard looked so small, huddled at the end of the footboard, his chapped, bloody lips were trembling and when he spoke, “Are you- why are you here? What do you want?” it was a broken whisper, muffled by swollen bloodied lips.
Trevor surprised himself by speaking first. “We came back to see you.” he spoke softly and genuinely, wanting Alucard to see the truth in his words. “Hoping to find you in a better state than we’ve been in.”
“And all we want is to help you.” Sypha said just as gently, her blue eyes shining with unshed tears. “If you’ll let us.” She reached out and extended her hand as softly as she had spoken. -

Summary
After all is said and done, Frank doesn't have it in him to send Amy away on her own; now he has to reconcile with his decision to take care of a child with his past still haunting him. Out of ideas, and running low on hope, he finds himself once again on Karen Page's doorstep. Together, the three of them will have to figure out what how to do more than just survive in the wake of war.

Summary
After the Angels fall, the veil falls from Humanity's eyes, and suddenly, humans are able to see Monsters, Demons, and Angels for what they are; Dean, Cas, and Sam have to struggle with the horrific reality that the things they hunt are revealing themselves, wreaking havoc on humanity in ways they never had before- and the inevitability that the world as they know it is changing. With Cas human, the Gates of Hell still open, and Angels running wild- The only way to survive may be to put trust in other Hunters; to build a future where they just might have an upper hand - but that requires trust. Something Dean Winchester has never been good at.
I basically wanted to explore some of my favorite concepts of season 9 while doing justice to HumanCas and spattering in some of my own concepts, and write things a bit grittier. Destiel is basically canon to me, so it's going to be very present throughout the plot and will be the main relationship.
