Carefully, he steps back towards the hall, not in the mood to deal with the mess of the guest bedroom, and closes the door behind him so he doesn’t have to look at the work left for him. He steps towards the master bedroom and opens the door.
“GET OUT! I WILL TAKE YOUR—”
Zhongli glares. It stops Venti in his tracks immediately.
“Oh, hey!” Venti greets amiably, a huge grin on his face. “So, did you sell the house?”
His scowl deepens. A beat of silence passes between them.
Venti merely shrugs.
“I did say I would test them.”
(Zhongli is just a real estate agent trying to sell the house of his possibly-Snezhnayan-royalty client. Venti is the ghost haunting the house.
They get along like a house on fire.)
