Harry wasn’t able to get a good look in the box until after the Quidditch Cup fiasco, and has still yet to have a moment alone with Ron and Hermione to mention it. Even now, on the train, Neville, Ginny and Luna are with them. They’re his friends too, yes, but this is about his mum, and Ron and Hermione are his best friends. He wants to tell them alone. Together. He wants them to know. To help him. He can’t figure it out without them, that’s for damn sure.
And there is plenty to figure out. Starting with that book.

During the summer before fourth year, Harry happens across a box of his mother’s things in the Dursley’s attic. With it is a warded book, Lily’s diary. Together with Ron, Hermione and their friends, Harry works to unlock the book, and uncover the secrets hidden between its pages.
A story about a dead woman’s diary, a complicated, bitter man living deep in denial, a vulnerable boy and his found family, and a bathroom on the second floor of Hogwarts.

Ch 46
Really good
Harry, Hermione and Ron are super close and supportive
Harry discovers a box with some stuff of his mom's the summer before 4th year. It takes them half of the year to figure out how to open her diary. They learn he is Snape's son, Harrison Evans Snape, that James married her for a cover and they modified their friends memories. Snape is told but doesn't really want anything to do with Harry. He informs Minerva. Harry has told Hermione, Ron, Luna, Neville and Ginny.He actively avoids participating in the Triwizard Tournament. He pushes Cedric out of the way of the killing curse and gets hit himself in the scar. Cedric grabs the cup to bring them back. Harry relieves Riddles memories until Halloween night. They learn of Horcruxes. Harrys scar is gone.
Other changes. Ron and Hermione briefly date in 4th year and then decide they're not into each other. Aunt Marge has done some sort of sexual abuse to Harry. Eileen Snape has begun corresponding with Harry. Harry gets his parents wills unsealed (Albus heard them first and sealed them) and learns Eileen was supposed to raise him if Severus didn't want him. And he was never to go to Petunia.
Dudley has realized that Harry has been abused and sought the help of his school counselor this school year and didn't come home over any breaks. He's being nicer to Harry. Hermione has charmed a notebook that the 3 of them can chat through.

Something came whizzing down the kitchen chimney as he spoke and caught him sharply on the back of the head. The next moment, thirty or forty letters came pelting out of the fireplace like bullets.
“That does it!” he snapped, his beady little eyes focused solely on Harry, “It’s you that they want. And they won’t stop coming after us until you’re… gone”.
Harry didn't like the sound of that.
“But Vernon, we can’t! You heard what that- that despicable old man told us!”
“Don’t worry, pet” Vernon said, his nasty grin triumphant, “I’ll leave him someplace so far away that those freaks will never trace him back to us. There’s an institute up north, for these- these hopeless cases and whatnot - St Brutus's Secure Centre for Boys. I’ll leave him there, and then we can get back to our nice, normal life”.Or, the one where Harry doesn't attend Hogwarts in first year but finds his way to the wizarding world anyway, and this changes everything.

Ch 136
Harry's uncle evades the Hogwarts owls and drops him off at St Brutus under the name Harry Evans. Harry learns he's a wizard and then teaches himself brilliantly from books by a Rowle that attends there. His mother didn't allow him to go to Hogwarts and he ended up there as an alternative to Juvie.
Tom successfully got the Stone and learns he lost his sanity so has been absorbing his Horcruxes. He just needs the locket.
Harry escapes Brutus and enters the magical world. He's excellent at wandless magic but is keeping that quiet, using a wand is harder. At Gringotts he learns that Sirius is his godfather. He eventually gets his nerves to approach Remus at his coffee shop. And from there Sirius and then Dumbledore.
"The first rule of baking, pup, is that you always measure chocolate chips with your heart"
Harry will enter Hogwarts as a 5th year and promises to try it until Christmas. Sirius is going to adopt Harry. Harry properly introduced himself to the Malfoys. His wand is phoenix feather but with elder wood (the holly snapped). Mundugus Fletcher leaked to the press about Harry being alive. Kreacher gifts Harry the locket and has him promise to destroy it when he's able to, but to protect it until then (Severus was tasked with finding the locket by Voldemort)
Umbridge has given detentions with a blood quill. He's recruited for Seeker.
Hermione and the Gryffindors want Harry to teach Defense but the other Slytherins won't be invited so he vehemently turns it down. Ginny explains how she knows Lord Slytherin is Voldemort and Harry is intrigued about the Diary and quickly finds the Chamber of Secrets and befriends the basilisk.
He's been corresponding with Narcissa. And bargained with Draco to get his hair styled to look more the Lord/Duke he will be someday.
Snape caught him coming back from detention with Umbridge and now knows everything.
Harry tells Sirius about Nagini attacking Mr. Weasley and the next day Severus, whom gives him a book on occlumancy. Voldemort is starting to ponder if Harry has a connection to him similar to Nagini.
Harry is officially adopted by Sirius. He talks to Lord Lestrange and Nott at the Zabini Gala, and they tell Tom about him. Narcisa Malfoy likes him.
Harry decides he'd like to be a professor. Severus tells Harry the dreams he's having is because of the prophecy and his own role in it.
He listens to the prophecy with the Death Eaters watching. The Order arrives to no one. And learns Dumbledore was hiding a prophecy and Sirius and Remus are furious. Voldemort discovers Harry is a Horcrux by viewing Snape's memory of him and noticing the necklace chain to Salazar's locker.
Harry figures out how to contact Lord Slytherin in his dreams.
Harry Potter cancels his private lessons with Dumbledore after the orphanage memory and read Dumbledore the riot act for how he treated young Tom. Snape writes in a journal after his dueling sessions with Harry, I think he's reporting to Tom the spells and how quickly Harry is learning.
Harry talks with Tom at length at the Ministry ball and dances with him twice, Voldemort ensures it's front page news. Harry visits Nagini's mindscape at night. Voldemort just learned he could speak parsletongue from Nagini.
Tom sends Harry Umbridge's head during an Order holiday meeting. (Although Harry had apparently gotten her sent to the looney ward of St Mungos after leading her to the centaurs)
Sirius, Remus and Severus are starting to notice interest in each other (which I'm not interested in). Harry was kidnapped by low level death eaters and is being tortured. Severus went to Tom to verify if he knew about it, Tom is furious. Sev discovers Barty is alive in Slytherin library and had been posing as Moody. Harry had previously told Sev that he knows he's a Horcrux and what to do with that knowledge.
Harry saves himself. 3 days he barely can move but uses wandless magic to escape and successfully apparates for the first time to Hogwarts (realizing that's his home). Fawkes fetches the Order and Poppy and Severus do their best.
"grateful that Severus hadn’t come with them because his Harry-bullshit-ometre was a work of art"
Voldemort realizes his ring is a deathly hallow after Harry comments he's carrying the invisibility cloak around for protection and said it's been around for decades at least.
Harry is sick and tired of waiting and wants to be in a defined relationship with Tom. Tom is freaking out and being a chicken. They finally have quasi sex in a dream after year end exams when Harry forces his way in.
Harry learns of the threesome with Sirius, Severus and Remus and lots of betrothal rqsts. Tom gifts him the resurrection stone.

Summary
Soulmate something everyone looks forward to. On the fifteenth birthday of the youngest of the pair, the marks appear on 99% of the population. Less than one percent of the world doesn't have a soulmate.
On Harrison's 15th birthday his soulmate marks came in. One was on his left wrist the name was in clear and crisp handwriting. It read 'Rabastan Lestrange. He knew that meant his soulmate was a Death Eater. He realizes that the Light has failed him and that not everyone in the Dark is evil. Barty's kindness was proof of that and why Harrison helped him escape. He knows he can never tell anyone. Not even the other side of the bond. The Light would not be happy to know that he was connected to a Death Eater and Rabastan would likely not be pleased to learn that his soulmate was the enemy.
Desperately Harrison tries to keep his head down. To not bring attention to himself and hope his connection to his soulmates is overlooked in the brewing storm of war. As he returns to Hogwarts he struggles with a powerful in him that he's unable to find an explanation for. Desperately hoping that no one notices. But that's not how things work out. Not for him. Never for him.

Corvus Lestrange defends Harry at his trial and prevents his obscurial from releasing. He calls Sirius over to inform him. Harry is his son's soul mate. Sirius kicks everyone out of Grimmauld.

“Not Harry, not Harry, please not Harry!”
“Stand aside, you silly girl… stand aside, now”.
And Lily Potter stepped aside.
Voldemort stared at her.
“... Is this some sort of trick?” he asked softly.
“No". Her voice was flat, lifeless. “You already killed James... If you let me live, then you can have Harry”.
Voldemort’s lip curled - not in amusement, but disgust. His own mother had died for him. Pathetic, yes, sentimental and foolish - but she had chosen to die so that he could live. Lily Potter wasn’t even choosing to care. Surely the child of prophecy deserved a better mother than this! Even he could give the boy to a better family to be raised right!
Voldemort slowly reached down and picked up the child.
He was still staring at him. He was still oddly silent. His eyes were still the colour of the Killing curse and brimming with power.
Yes, Voldemort decided, that was exactly what he’d do.
"You belong to me now" he whispered.
And with a crack like thunder, he turned on the spot, vanishing into the night.Or, the one where Harry Potter is raised by the Lestranges and it goes more or less how you would expect.

Ch 33
Lily Potter stands aside when Voldemort asks her too. She got pregnant by accident and married James quickly afterwards and is quite young. Voldemort is disgusted but still tries to kill Harry. It backfires although Voldemort isn't killed. Harry still gets a scare. He takes Harry and gives him to Bella and Rodolphous Lestrange to raise as their own son Haedeus. Harry is very magically gifted.
Sirius and Remus are disillusioned by the Order of the Phoenix and have been trying to find Harry ever since. Severus pieces together who Harry is and goes to the dark lord to come clean. He swears a vow to protect Harry.
Harry successfully got the Philosophers Stone without even knowing what it is. He sends it to the dark lord via Snape after learning its identity. Dumbledore springs a surprise meeting with Harry, Lily, Sirius and Remus. Harry gets comfort from Sev who takes him to his parents briefly. They discretely blow up Dumbledores office with him in it. He's recovering in the hospital. Harry does continue to converse with Sirius and Lupin. They have lunch with Bellatrix and Rodolphous.
Turns out Karkaroff has been the one trying to steal the Philosophers Stone. Haedus defeats and stuns him, going to Snapes office, who cleans things up, making it appear that Karkaroff had stolen the Philosophers Stone and fled the school (he was handed over to the dark Lord).
