Hawkins is ridiculously peaceful now that the monsters are dead, but I’m busy watching a play that’s far more horrific: Mike Wheeler playing the role of the 'devoted lover' to an Eleven who’s withering away on suppressants. Watching the mechanical way he strokes her hair, I’d swear I was looking at a machine programmed to act kind. Keep up the act, Mike, because while you’re busy fulfilling your 'duty' as a knight and a proper boyfriend, I’m the only one who actually makes you laugh and we both know who’s really winning this game of illusions, don't we?
