Dagur had always been curious about who his soulmate would be, and he wasn’t worried about the pain that would come with it. He expected to feel his soulmate’s pain at the age of 15 like everybody else. But that’s not what happened. Instead he finds himself feeling that pain 3 years later, and he doesn’t make the connection of who his soulmate is until the treaty signing at Berk. Hiccup isn’t ready to have anyone as a soulmate, never mind Dagur. What ensues is a war of strife and longing for love, life, and understanding.

Summary
Hiccup didn't expect much from his life at 16, to be honest, he was born different than any other Viking. In addition to being smaller and thinner, his voice was not like that of the other Vikings, no matter how hard he tried, he never managed to learn to speak like the others. Whenever he tried, all that came out were roars and growls, he could understand the Vikings only he couldn't respond. While he could easily hear, understand and speak the language of dragons. And this ability completely transformed his life, after all all he did was ensure that the dragons escaped, take care of them and protect them. But Hiccup never got close enough to know which dragon his roar was from, all that changes when he finds Toothless, after all dragons find their life companions through their roar and Toothless heard Hiccup.
