Summary
Slugcats, even extraordinary ones, are ill-suited to heroism. They are small, squishy, and generally very vulnerable to the dangers of the world, but they have little choice but to buckle up and attempt some heroics all the same, because no one else is going to do it for them.
Eight of these fine creatures have set out on a journey to meet with a vast machine-intellect known as an Iterator, and along the way they will have to navigate perilous terrain, contend with a well-armed and organized clan of scavengers, and face down a vulture king of considerably above-standard intellect.
Which is to say, it's a fairly standard trip through the grounds of an Iterator. Now if they can just make it to them before they collapse...
