“I’m being serious, he’d say yes and start crying like an idiot, even if you asked him in a dumpster,” Sua stresses, her brows pinching as if she were imagining the scene playing out before her.
“But he doesn’t deserve a dumpster!” Till exclaims, indignant, “And besides… we don’t know if he’d say yes.” He mumbles, looking off to the side of the room out his window, his face flaring.
Sua gives Till a long, painful look. “We don’t know if he’d say yes,” She repeats, her voice devoid of any emotion.
Till wants to give Ivan the perfect proposal. Cue the universe not letting him have his way.

Growing up with different conditions, especially in the company of more experienced humans, the younger versions eventually develop their own personalities separate from the older ones.However that doesn't seem to stop Navi - the renamed younger Ivan - to fall for and thus suffer the same fate as Ivan.
