“How’s our littlest hypochondriac holding up?” Richie asks, as soon as Eddie’s face pops up. He’s wearing a polo shirt at home, like the adorable little freak he is.
“How do you think, Richie? My therapist basically said ‘Hey, let’s put exposure therapy on hold for a minute. Maybe you were onto something with the hourly hand sanitising.”
The corner of Richie’s mouth ticks up. “Hey, at least you already had personal hygiene habits. I’ve had to remind myself not to pick at my teeth in public.”

richie is quite literally the opposite of that. loud, unabashed and unashamed of his rightfully shameful mouth. but richie really is quite taken with the small boy who doesn't talk, and eddie is pretty into the trashmouth too.
