    After Odysseus defeated Poseidon, dealt with the suitors, and reunited with Penelope and Telemachus, he felt strange.

    As though his instincts are both constantly screaming at him to go near to water, and to flee from any source of it once approached.

    It started as a little anxious edge…but it grows into something he fears he must isolate from his already long-separated family, as he fears what they will think of what he’s becoming.
