Elphaba felt the small flicker of doubt and disbelief in her mind, but not fast enough to stop it from showing on her face. She watched as Fiyero's face fell, something akin to hurt or heartache, but not pity, reflecting back at her. "I know you think I've lost my mind. I can see it in your eyes. Perhaps I have. They say love can do that to people. But that doesn't make it any less true, whether you believe it or not."
