Work 4 - 3Work 1 - When two boys, twins known for getting in trouble, came to Hogwarts, they were sorted based on the attributes they showed. They were put in Slytherin because they wanted to prove themselves and had overwhelming ambition. The Sorting Hat didn't even ponder the other houses.
When Harvey "Harry" Lillian Potter sees a letter addressed to him, he immediately shoves it through the door of his cupboard to read for later. This spurs a series of events ending in Harry finding his own way to Diagon. Therefore, Harry explores as much as he likes and makes a few discoveries along the way.
When Lady Malfoy finds none other than Heir Potter himself buying a certain selection of books, she decides that he may not be a lost cause. She makes the final world-changing decision; she was going to take absolute care in making sure that the young heir never fell under Dumbledore's manipulative thumb.

Jason Peter Todd-Wayne secretly wishes he stayed dead. He wishes he stayed with the love of his afterlife. Some days, Jason wants to die again. He doesn't though. The last thing Phantom had said to him was, "Enjoy the life you get the chance to live." Jason wouldn't want to disappoint Phantom.
Jason hates living, but maybe the man he met while on patrol makes him hate it a little less. The man doesn't know who Jason is past the helm of Red Hood, and Jason doesn't know who the man is besides his last name, Nightingale. This is fine. Jason doesn't need to know who the man is, and the man is safer not knowing who Jason is. At least they can bond over being half dead.
Work 3 - Percy Jackson, age twenty-seven, wakes up in the past, in the final battle of the Trojan War. He tries to fit in and accidentally adopts a son and a new sister. Upon meeting and claiming his new sister, he makes a plan. There was a joke at Camp Half-Blood that if Cassandra of Troy met Odysseus of Ithaca, her prophecies would have been heeded as the warnings they were. If Percy was in the past for a bit, he may as well come home with an answer as to whether or not the loophole would have worked. That, and now he's committed to keeping all of Odysseus' crew alive to see their homes and families again.
