Summary
Charles Leclerc has committed many crimes. The murder that sends him to prison is not one of them.
Framed, isolated from his family, and placed in the cell of Max Verstappen, Charles intends to keep his head down, draw no attention, and survive until his brothers come for him.
Unfortunately, Max takes one look at him and sees the monster beneath the mask.
Even more unfortunately, Charles looks back and sees something just as familiar.
They are two apex predators placed in the same cage. By every law of instinct, they should clash until only one of them is left standing.

EVERTON? Lando’s jaw drops. “Is he serious?” he mutters.
On screen, Oscar is grinning. "No but, uh, Manchester’s been playing their football. And we’ve been playing ours.” He shrugs. “And maybe we’re just playing ours a little bit better.”
“And what about Lando Norris?”
Oscar’s head tilts. He smiles, wider this time. Annoyingly cute. “What about him?”

“Is that how you talk to first-time customers, mate?” Franco can hear the amusing lilt in his voice, and he’s pretty damn sure he's grinning, too. “I don’t think it’s something you usually do.”
“I know,” Franco answers, stopping in front of a rack as he browses through some graphic shirts, like an old Oasis tee and a hand-me-down with striped sleeves. He tries to ignore his own reddening ears. “I do it for customers that’ll come back,” he glances at the other guy and smirks. “Just like you.”
