‘Hey.’ She wedges the phone between her shoulder, freeing up a hand to push through the Gym door and out into the autumn air. ‘So you survived the lecture from hell.’
He laughs down the phone, she wishes she could see it, feel more than just the vibrations through the phone. It’s been too long since she got to touch him, she’s already trying to find a way to justify visiting next weekend, but with their first Away match coming up it’s not looking likely. ‘Yep. Thanks for the emotional support texting.’
She smiles. ‘Anytime.’

Summary
