Summary
It starts at a party, as most bad things do. Satoru's world is turned upside down when he overhears Geto Suguru talking behind his back. Suddenly has to get over his feelings for his childhood best friend and he has to do it fast if he wants to walk away from the wreckage in one piece. Unfortunately Suguru isn't all that keen on letting Satoru get away, but help might come in from an unexpected direction.

She was glad she came from a small clan. She was glad she got to live out her life as she pleased in her 20s with minimal surveillance. She was grateful for every minute of every day spent as someone unimportant, someone unworthy of notice.

Nothing she’d done was ever good enough for the man at her side. She wasn’t pretty enough, talented enough, strong enough, subservient enough. His dislike of her was apparent to everyone, and yet here he was, sitting next to her in his family estate, going over last minute details of their wedding in the days to come.
