Summary
Seven months after the Battle of Hogwarts, life is returning to normal. Mostly.
Hermione Granger is back at Hogwarts for her final year, still unable to restore her parents' memories, but determined to finish her studies. Sirius Black has returned from the Veil, alive and not entirely sure what to do with that. The war is over, or so they're told.
But a corrupt Ministry is tightening its grip, and when a Muggle-born Marriage Act passes, Hermione finds herself pulled from Hogwarts and assigned a husband she barely knows. Then Grimmauld Place receives an unexpected visitor from the future, and the world they've left behind is worse than anything Voldemort ever managed.
