After learning of the prophecy, of what their unborn son would do to destroy their kingdom, King Priam and Queen Hecuba of Ilion did not send the babe Paris out to be killed by the herdsman Agelaos; no, instead of following the origins of Oedipus, they followed the origins of Perseus — Paris was sent adrift into the Mediterranean.
Despite all odds, he washes up alive on the shores of Mycenae, where a shepherd takes him in and raises him in the nearby shadow of the Mycenaean city ripe with strife.

Summary
Yuder’s grandfather always told him to be careful who he talked too, sure there was the classic stranger danger reason, but there was also the fact that people tend to fall over whenever a siren asks them to do something.
This small detail won’t change much, but it still changes just enough to make a difference .
