The gentle sea had finally betrayed them. Its waters were no longer a crystal clear blue, but instead a deep purple that towered over and swallowed the fishing dock and pier. Angry splotches of morning sunlight refracted in broken rays across the beast's chest, the pink sky looking more like blood as it advanced towards Ahsoka and the evacuating people.

Ruby fell, alone.
This was her own plan.
She would always die if it meant she could save others, she was more focused on saving the civilians though.
She didn't understand why the others feared dying so much, they signed up for a job where less than 10% retire and less then 9% of those were willing.
