Law rumbles something unintelligible, tappiing and tracing according to a rhythm neither knows. And then two fingers trace down along Sanji's spine- along the divot over the bone column kept in a perfect curve and line.
Those fingers dig gently into muscle with no warning, and Sanji sighs so sweetly it makes Law's eyes darken, makes him lick his lips as he watches the shift of Sanji's shoulders.

Don’t die until then. It’s his own selfish request, and he knows it, but he cannot live like that. In a world where Sanji is killed by an enemy, in which Sanji is killed at all. If Sanji is to die, at least let it be by a hand that has known his gentleness. If Sanji is going to die, at least let it be with steel that he knows like the sole of his own foot and bears no resentment against. If Sanji is going to die, at least let it be to the man who would mourn the end of both their lives, regardless if Zoro still drew breath. It is his plea to Sanji, not any higher power, to at least make sure Sanji survived until he absolutely had to die, for the safety of the people around him.
When Death looks at Zoro after his fight, his pitying gaze pins him to the ground.

The swordsman spoke in such a straight-forward way, like it was that easy. Like that simple fact would fix Sanji’s issues.And the cook hated how it worked. How everything felt less heavy for a moment, how relief washed over him, like that reassurance was everything Sanji had needed.
“I know that.”The first time Sanji cries in a man’s arms, the experience contradicts everything he believed about himself. While he wrestles with his identity, torn between deep-seated beliefs and a confusing new reality, a green-haired swordsman is left trying to understand why the crew's cook has suddenly become so avoidant towards him.
Alternatively: Sanji gets triggered into a sexuality crisis by an oblivious Zoro and hesitantly opens up about his past.!can be read as platonic as well as romantic!

Neither of them takes it well.
