Summary
I slowly turn around, back to the ground, I lean over the edge, and fall. My heart skips a beat when the free fall starts, yet for once in my life, my brain is silent. But when I should’ve hit the ground, I didn’t; I kept falling. Life wanted to make one more joke out of me, I never hit the ground.
I keep falling, but as I look up to the sky, the stars look brighter than before, brighter than I’ve ever seen them. As I fall, I realize there’s nothing around me.
It’s empty.
But when I realize that it’s too late, my body hits something, but it’s not the ground; I hit water. The impact knocked all the air out of me, as my body sank my vision went out.
